| This Epilepsy Center, which belongs to Shenzhen Government, is a state-owned non-profit institution and one of the key medical departments preferentially supported by local government in Shenzhen.
The center aims at guiding people to the right medical organization when having brain diseases. It also introduces new knowledge of popular science about epilepsy and other brain diseases and gives advice on Internet, helping those who need help.

Dr. Liao Jiangxiang, M.D., Ph.D. (Peking University), Professor of Pediatrics, pediatric neurologist. He is one of Professor Zuo Chihua’s students, founder of pediatric neurology in People’s Republic of China. He learned a lot from Professor Lin Qing, present Chairman of Chinese Children’s Neurology. Dr. Liao has a lot of practical experience in treating children’s epilepsy, cerebral palsy, headache, cerebral developmental disturbance, tics, mental retardation, language delay and other child nervous system diseases. He is the section chief of pediatric neurology and director of Comprehensive Epilepsy Center of Shenzhen Children’s Hospital, which is equipped with the most advanced clinical and research devices in its laboratories.
